Our Little Climber!

Elephant!

So we are pretty sure we are going to name this baby Eleanor. I was trying to get Riley to say her name and pointed to my belly saying baby Eleanor is in my tummy. I asked him to say Eleanor and he says, " Elephant!" and then rubs my tummy. We giggled and he laughed. So now we are trying to teach him his sister will be a girl named Eleanor and not a huge elephant. Haha.

Change to More Fun Topics

So I read some of the other blogs and am envious as to how people remember the cute and funny stories from their daily life that their kids do and I am now going to dedicate myself to try to remember these stories and share them for all to enjoy. Riley really is a hoot! I think he does funny stuff all the time, but many of you may not think so.

So today is Riley's 2nd birthday and my sister brought him over a gift. She got him a little chalk board because he LOVES chalk! So for about an hour today he was walking around the house with chalk in hand saying, "chalks". He likes for you repeat him so he knows that you understand.

Later he found a belt, my belt. Because of the enormity of my belly (being almost in the 9th month of pregnancy) I haven't worn a belt for quite some time. Well, his papa does so he told me, "belt, papa!" I corrected him telling him it was my belt and he again said, "No, belt, papa!" I guess I am no longer a belt wearer, that title belongs to papa.

So these are cheesy stories, hopefully i will remember the funniest ones to share with y'all!

Amtrak!!!

So in just couple days we all get to board the train and head for California!!! I'm so excited!! Traveling by train is the BEST! For those of you who take planes and cars i'm happy it works for you, but for me and my small family we have fallen in love with the train. We get a little roommette which has two chairs that face each other and at night fold into a bed. There is also a bed that swings down from the top to making enough room for two to sleep just fine. We eat on the train and our meals are included in fare. What could be better. No seat belts! There are showers to use, beds to sleep in, free juice and you can roam the train. I LOVE IT! I would recommend that all people try the train at least once!

Happy Day to all and the deceased

Interesting title for a blog i think. I just wanted somewhere to mention that today is/was my little sister's birthday. So, i'm just thinking about her a little today. (You all know me, so i'm assuming you remember my little died two years ago). But i wanted to say happy day to all because today is BEAUTIFUL day! Riley and i walked to the park and got all dirty from him throwing the ground everywhere.

The next baby is kicking around in my tummy LIKE MAD! Jackie baby sat Riley for me on the 22nd and Micah and I got to go on a real date for our 3 year wedding anniversary. That would our first real date, one without Riley, in like a year or so. Planning for baby sitting is so hard for me!

new niece

I don't know if any of you are aware, but my sister has been on bed rest most of her pregnancy and just a few days ago she had a healthy baby girl, by c-section. Her name is Catherine and she was 2.7 lbs and 14 inches. she'll be in the NICU for a while but she is doing well. Melissa is also doing great! Recovery, recovery, recovery! that's all for now.
